REFUND POLICY
This Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to services and payments made through the website www.swaroopnbfc.com (“Website”) of Swaroop Finance Private Limited (trading as Swaroop NBFC) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Website and/or our services, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. Scope
We provide financial services, including loan origination, processing and related credit facilitation activities (“Services”). This Policy covers any payment(s) made by you for the Services (including application/processing fees, advance payments, subscription fees, etc.) and sets out conditions under which refunds may be granted.
2. No automatic refund right
Please note that unless explicitly provided for below, payment(s) made by you are non-refundable. Payment(s) made for Services already rendered, including due diligence, credit screening, documentation review, disbursal facilitation, etc., cannot be refunded merely because you choose to discontinue or cancel your application.
3. Cases eligible for refund
We may, in our sole discretion, grant a refund in the following cases:
If we fail to provide the Service after you made payment (for example, your application was accepted, you paid the processing fee, and then we did not act on the application) and the failure is purely on our part (not due to you).
If you paid a fee for a Service that we have explicitly promised to refund under a separate written agreement or promotional offer.
If you paid in error (for example, duplicate payments) and notify us within [30 calendar days] of the payment, and the error is verified by us.
4. Cases not eligible for refund
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
You decide not to proceed with the application after we have started the processing.
We have performed the Service (for example, credit evaluation, documentation review, etc.) and the outcome is ‘application declined’ or you withdrew the application after the processing began.
The reason for non-disbursal of the loan is outside our control (for example, unsatisfactory credit score, your failure to submit required documents, regulatory or compliance matters).
The Service has been fully completed and you simply change your mind.
5. Refund request process
To request a refund:
Write to us at refunds@swaroopnbfc.com with:
Your name and applicant/reference number
Date and amount of payment
Proof of payment (receipt or transaction number)
Reason for refund request
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days, and will process and communicate our decision within 15 business days from receipt of all required information.
If approved, refund will be made via the same mode of payment used by you, unless otherwise agreed. The refund will be processed within 7 business days after our approval.
6. Deduction of costs
In case of partial refunds, we reserve the right to deduct any legitimate costs incurred by us (for example bank transaction charges, third-party service charges) before refunding the balance.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may amend this Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on our Website, with a revised “Effective Date” and will apply for payments made after such posting. Continued use of the Website and/or our Services constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
